What makes a Full Moon Farm CSA Share different than other CSAs?
Full Moon Farm’s CSA offers the flexibility you wish you had in a CSA. Once you become a member of Full Moon Farm, you show up to any pick-ups we have, choose any and all products you want, and check-out with our farm crew. Over the course of the season, members receive regular savings (10% - 30%,) over regular store pricing. Plus members receive another 7%-12% bonus added to their card as soon as they sign up! With food prices soaring, it pays to be a member of a CSA!
Location Flexibility!
You can collect your value at any of our three locations! Out running errands? Have a doctor's appointment on the other side of town? Out of town for your regular pick-up? Visiting the Farmers' Market with friends? You can show up at any of these pick-ups, or at our farm store, on any of these days, without notifying us. No explanations needed; no questions asked.
Flexible Quantities!
At each pick-up you can get any amount of any item. For example, if you love salads, stock up on greens. Can’t eat potatoes? Don’t take them. If we have sweet corn, you can take as many ears as you want. If you don't like corn, you don't have to take any. Making a batch of tomato sauce? Stock up on tomatoes. Going out of town soon? Take less. Got company coming? Take more.
Flexible Choices!
With the flexible share, you can take whatever you want every week. Are you vegan? Take veggies, flowers and CBD products. Vegetarian? Add on eggs. Eat meat occasionally? Try our pork chops or one of our broiler chickens. Are you a big meat eater? Leave the potatoes behind and stock up on sausages, bacon and roasts. As a customer, you get to choose what you want every week. Have a dietary restriction? Avoid all the foods you cannot eat and focus on those you can.
CSA Pick-Up Options for the 2024 season
Our approach to distribution may change as the pandemic evolves. If necessary, we will extend the hours of pick-up slightly to allow the first half hour of each pick-up to be reserved for seniors and immuno-compromised individuals.
Tuesdays, 3:30PM - 5:30PM at Temple Sinai in S. Burlington. Confirmed.
Farmstand at Full Moon Farm. Open 7 days/ wk starting in mid-late June 8AM - 8PM.
Saturdays, 9:00AM - 2:00PM at Burlington Farmers' Market at 345 Pine St.
Financial Assistance
If you need financial assistance in purchasing a share, you may qualify for a discount through the NOFAVT Farmshare program. Applications open at the beginning of February through Northeast Organic Farmer Association- Vermont. For more information and application, go to nofavt.org/farmshare.
